There are two ways to share your Zembula content via email: using the Zembula Universal Code to display the experience from email directly on your website, or sending your recipients to a hosted interstitial page where the experience lives.
We recommend using the Universal Code, since the ultimate goal of sending an email is most likely to get your audience directly to your website as quickly as possible. However, we know there are times when installing code on a site isn't possible, and so the interstitial page is still an option.
The instructions below will guide you through setting up triggering an experience from an email campaign using both ways.
Sending an Email Using the Zembula Universal Code
Once you have installed and enabled your Universal Code (click here to learn how to do that), head over to the Campaigns section and select the campaign you want to share. Click on the Email link at the top.
Name your campaign and click Create Snippet Code.
With the Website button highlighted, input the URL of the page on which you want your experience to appear.
Select your Email Service Provider and the appropriate account you are using.
Set the image size. You can either input a specific image size, or you can choose to keep the image responsive, which will resize automatically depending on the device the recipient is viewing on.
Finally, copy and paste the email snippet into your email template, and you're good to go! Now, when your recipient clicks the link in the email, they will be taken to the page you indicated, and the experience will display immediately as an overlay.
Sending an Email Using the Zembula Interstitial Page
Setting up your campaign to send using the Zembula interstitial page is a similar process. Follow steps 1 and 2 above.
When you get to step 3, instead of clicking on the Website button, click on Interstitial.
The rest of the steps are the same as above. However, the snippet generated will have the appropriate code to send to the interstitial page.
